Ohio State reached its big goal for the 2024 college football season with a National Championship.

The Buckeyes bounced back with an impressive win after the regular season finale loss to Michigan on Nov. 30.

Now that the season is over, players have decisions to make regarding the transfer portal and NFL draft. Players looking to enter the draft as underclassmen have until Friday to do so.

A few names stand out with decisions to make on the NFL draft from Ohio State:

RB Quinshon Judkins

After two standout years at Ole Miss, where he racked up over 2,700 rushing yards, Judkins played his junior season in Columbus. The star running back had 1,060 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns in 2024 with the Buckeyes. Judkins came in and split touches with TreVeyon Henderson, giving the Buckeyes a tough running back to bring down.

This draft class has deep talent at the running back position, which includes the senior Henderson. With the depth of this class, Judkins has a decision to make. He is projected to be a middle-round running back in the draft, but the process still has to play out. If he were to return to Columbus, he would be the top guy.

LB Sonny Styles

The 2024 season was a breakout year for Styles, where he put it all together. Styles has been a linebacker for one season after being a safety previously and recorded 100 tackles, six sacks, and a forced fumble in 16 games played. Styles is an athletic freak, having had 53 tackles and two sacks as a sophomore in 2023.

He stands about 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 235 pounds, making him likely to test well at the combine. It appears that Styles would be a middle-round pick, but another year at Ohio State could significantly boost his draft stock. Another year as a linebacker would further demonstrate to the NFL that he can indeed compete.

CB Davison Igbinosun

Igbinosun is one of the more volatile Buckeyes to watch on tape. When he is on, there aren’t many cornerbacks better than him at this level. However, Igbinosun has had issues with being too handsy at times, which cost him a significant number of penalties in 2024.

After a standout year as a freshman at Ole Miss in 2022, Igbinosun has been a key contributor for the Buckeyes over the last two seasons. As a junior, Igbinosun had 45 tackles and recorded his first two career interceptions. If Igbinosun decides to enter the draft, he is likely to be a Day 3 value as of right now.
