Arch Manning, a former five-star recruit from New Orleans, is set to take over as the starting quarterback for the Texas Longhorns in 2025.
Manning will be a redshirt sophomore in the fall as he takes the reigns to the offense with Quinn Ewers off to the NFL.
Earlier this week, Manning, who didn't speak to the media very often during his first two seasons in Austin, sat down with ESPN for a lengthy on-camera interview.
Fans were quick to point out that Manning, who announced a new NIL deal with Red Bull this week, looked more like a Formula One driver in the interview than a football player.

I can definitely see it. It's the Red Bull hat that really sells it.
The Manning family has never been shy about endorsing products and appearing in commercials, so I'm sure we'll all be seeing more of Arch on our televisions and social media feeds in the coming months/years.
Manning, however, deserves a lot credit for waiting until he was the starting quarterback to begin pursuing NIL deals.
“I didn’t want to be the guy rolling in with all this money when we have guys like Jake Majors who have 40 starts here and not making any [and] I’m taking all the money,” said Manning during his sit-down with ESPN's Marty Smith. “I wanted to earn my money, work hard, get to know the players. Kind of earn my way up.”
There should be no shortage of NIL deals for Arch in the future. He was already the most popular quarterback in the sport even though he was listed at No. 2 on the Texas depth chart. Now that he's the Longhorns' unquestioned starter, his popularity is bound to skyrocket.
