The New Orleans Saints recently lost offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak to the Seattle Seahawks. The young play-caller was allowed to interview for the job, as the Saints are expected to go in a new direction with their next head coach.

Along with Kubiak, another young assistant may head to the NFC West foe as well. Andrew Janocko has received interest from Seattle for the quarterbacks coach job under Kubiak.

The Saints gave the Seahawks permission to interview Janocko for the QBs coach role on their staff, too. According to reports, Charles London, the QBs coach for Seattle, is heading to the New York Jets.

Charles London, the Seahawks’ QB coach in 2024, is joining the Jets’ staff in the same role, a source confirms (@TomPelissero first). Seattle was given permission to interview Andrew Janocko for that role earlier this week, per @Kat_Terrell. He’s worked with new OC Klint Kubiak. — Brady Henderson

That report regarding London explains the Seahawks' interest in adding Janocko to staff. They no longer have a QBs coach on staff, and Janocko has coaching experience alongside Kubiak.

If Janocko leaves New Orleans, that will open another staff position for the Saints' next HC.

Of course, it is possible that he cleans house, and there are reports that expected Saints HC Kellen Moore has already contacted some assistants about his potential staff in New Orleans.

Expect New Orleans to have a new quarterbacks coach in 2025, as Janocko is a solid candidate for Seattle's job, along with any others around the NFL.
