Steelers' Joey Porter Jr. points the finger at the league when asked about recent struggles

The Pittsburgh Steelers have been open and honest about NFL officiating as of late.
With ground to stand on after a repulsive pool report that included a blatant lie after the Philadephia Eagles game, members of the team aren't happy with the guys wearing stripes.
But for CB Joey Porter Jr., he had a different bone to pick:
Joey Porter Jr. says A.J. Brown Got Away with Pushing Off
“I mean, the refs let them push off,” Porter told Chris Adamski of Trib Live regarding some of his struggles against the Eagles. “At the end of the day, that’s what it is on the tape. (A.J. Brown) just one of those guys who you know they aren’t going to call it.”
The truth of the matter here is that the refs let them play. Porter Jr. has a reputation for getting grabby, handsy, and physical with his matchup, and A.J. Brown is one of the most imposing perimeter weapons in the entire league.
You can see where Porter is coming from given the fact he was flagged six times against the Cincinnati Bengals a few weeks back, and he feels like he has to temper his aggressiveness while others can get away it.
But as we saw on Hard Knocks last week, Porter seemingly cares about that kind of stuff more than Mike Tomlin or anyone else on the Steelers. They just want him to play loose and be free, as opposed to worrying about his hands and penalties.
"I'm mad at it," Porter said when asked about the penalties against the Cincinnati Bengals a few weeks back via video from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's YouTube channel. "I'm trying to be great at the end of the day and those flags kind of get in the way. But like Coach [Tomlin] always says, if he's not tripping and my team's not mad about it, then I just gotta keep playing and doing my job. I feel like at this point they're trying to alter my play, but I'm not really worried about that…
"…Some of those calls, I feel like I'm not doing nothing the average [db isn't] doing. I got that target on my back and clearly, I just gotta keep working."
Steelers will be expecting an apology letter from the NFL following blatant omission by official
A laughable explanation.
