One Las Vegas Raiders starter also had a career day and no one is talking about it

The Las Vegas Raiders had a lot going on on Sunday, as they won over the New Orleans Saints, which was their second straight after beating the Jacksonville Jaguars the week before. But, they also had the Brock Bowers game, where he broke several all-time rookie records, and has officially become the greatest rookie tight end of all time.
After the game, the team couldn't help but get excited. You had owner Mark Davis in the background doing the "RAIIIIIIDERSSSSSS" chant, and the team singing and dancing to songs. It was very reminiscent of when the team was winning consistently last season when Antonio Pierce took over.
The vibes were great, despite falling to the No. 8 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
“It just speaks to how much we care about each other," running back Ameer Abdullah said after the game. "We’re not playing for anything, other than for each other. That’s enough for guys to put it on the line … I couldn’t be more proud of how these guys came out today.”
And, while all that was going on, the celebration of Bowers' game and rookie season, the win in the big easy, it seems like it didn't get talked about enough that Abdullah had a career day of his own. Here is what he did, according to the Las Vegas Raiders PR team:
RB Ameer Abdullah has played in 141 games since entering the league in 2015 and has now recorded his first career game with 100+ rushing yards. RB Ameer Abdullah has now notched a single-game career high in rushing yards, passing his previous high of 94 yards in Week 4 of 2017. RB Ameer Abdullah has 113 scrimmage yards in the first half today, the most by a Raiders RB in the first half of a game since Marcel Reece had 150 in the first half in Week 11, 2012.
Abdullah has been a consistent piece of this running back group since they started to lose pieces left and right. He's been a leader as a veteran with a group that has a lot of youth to it. And yet, somehow, when his number was called, he had the game he did.
Now, make no mistake, the Saints are no great run defense. They are pretty bad. But he was dicing them up all game long. And, for a unit that struggled in the run game pretty much all year long, that has to feel good. Let's see if he and the Raiders carry that over to Week 18 against the Los Angeles Chargers in the last game of the season.
Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers just had the best game of any rookie at his position ever
The Raiders have a special kid.
