The Tennessee Vols are reportedly losing a backup tight end to the NCAA transfer portal.

According to On3's Pete Nakos, Vols redshirt junior tight end Charlie Browder is entering the portal.

Browder, 6-foot-7/255 lbs from Kingsport, TN, is a former three-star recruit who started his career at UCF in 2021.

After one season at UCF, Browder transferred to Tennessee ahead of the 2022 season.

Browder saw limited action during his time at Tennessee, catching just two passes for 10 yards in three seasons as a Vol. Both of Browder's receptions came in Tennessee's 59-3 win against UConn.

The soon-to-be former Vol has two years of eligibility remaining according to Tennessee's official website
