The Las Vegas Raiders looked to be getting some very serious injury news this morning, but instead are going to be on the good side of said news.

On Sunday, in their loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Raiders held the game close until after halftime. And after halftime, things went downhill. Things also went downhill because it looked like starting quarterback Aidan O'Connell would be out for a very long time. Now, he was already playing badly, so it's not like the injury caused things to go downhill, but what happened to him did not look pretty.

On a scramble near the sideline, O'Connell threw the ball and was hit late by a defender. He injured his knee in an injury that did not look good at all. In fact, he was carted off of the field with an air cast on. As he held his hands over his face, for what could be interpreted as emotion for O'Connell, as he was being carted off, it didn't feel like any good would come out of the situation.

Then, on Monday morning, we get great news.

According to several insiders, O'Connell appears to just have a bone bruise on his knee.

And, other reports are claiming that O'Connell is going to try to play on Monday Night Football against the Atlanta Falcons. But, that is still up in the air, as Desmond Ridder could start against his former team.

This will be a situation we have to keep tabs on as the week progresses. After their game against the Falcons, the Raiders play the Jacksonville Jaguars.
