The Tennessee Vols look like they're going to be one of the programs that's strongly in the mix for 2026 four-star offensive lineman Grant Wise.
Wise, 6-foot-3/310 lbs from Milton, FL, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 13 interior offensive lineman in the nation and the No. 34 player in the state of Florida.
The talented offensive lineman was offered by the Vols this past spring and he camped at Tennessee in the summer.
"The 2026 four-star OL from Pace, Fla., took 10 game-day visits this season as Wise saw programs all over the country but a few especially stood out," wrote Rivals.com recruiting director Adam Gorney this week. "Oregon, Tennessee, Clemson and Oklahoma were the ones that made the biggest impression and while none have been counted out yet by Wise, those four could set the standard for his recruitment."
It's still early in the recruiting process for Wise — we should have more clarity on his plans next spring/summer — but it sounds like the Vols are going to be a big factor for the four-star recruit moving forward.
Tennessee currently has six players committed to its 2026 recruiting class, which is ranked No. 5 in the nation.
