The Oklahoma Sooners are going to attack the transfer portal aggressively, especially on the offensive side of the ball. They need a better offensive line to replace the guys who are leaving. They should also do the same with the wide receiver room, and so far they have been aggressive.

We know they are interested in transfer portal receiver Reginald Virgil, a former Miami of Ohio receiver, but they have also inquired about former Indiana receiver Donaven McCulley, a guy that many schools want. The Sooners need a guy with size and speed, and he has a bit of both.

The Sooners recently met with McCulley, and after the visit, the team received nothing but great news in response to how they can help build their wide receiver corps backup as it currently sits very depleted.

According to Collin Kennedy of 247 Sports, McCulley's visit to Oklahoma was "phenomenal."

And, that's great news, for several reasons. One, he is a player that the Sooners really need. Two, that will show other recruits and transfers that the Sooners do it right when it comes to visits. And, that will only make more kids interested in.

This is great news, and hopefully, if he does sign with Oklahoma, he will be a player that they could really use in 2025.
