Patriots starting left tackle Vederian Lowe really struggled in Sunday's loss to the Miami Dolphins.

He was penalized four times throughout the game, and then received some news to make things even worse on Saturday prior to the team's matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.

The NFL fined Lowe $5,472 for an unnecessary roughness (blindside block) penalty in the fourth quarter. The officials did not throw a flag during the game, but it seems that they reviewed it and decided to take action.

The play during the game resulted in a successful two-point conversion for the Patriots.

It was a rough showing for both tackles, and Lowe spoke about his struggles.

“The pre-snap penalties hurt the most because that’s nothing that nobody else is doing,” Lowe said. “By correcting that, just being more mentally focused, being more locked in, I think that that will go a long way. And just correcting those pre-snap penalties. So that way we give ourselves a chance.”

He called these mistakes an "easy fix" going forward.

Lowe remained in for the entire game, while starting right tackle Demontrey Jacobs was benched and replaced by Sidy Sow.

Lowe is questionable for the Patriots Week 13 game due to a shoulder injury.
