There's no lack of emotion in "Rizzi Ball" for the New Orleans Saints. Both their players and staff have a fire that was not seen before he was made interim head coach in New Orleans.

The Saints are currently locked into a tight game against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 13. Both squads desperately need a win to stay alive for playoff discussions.

The Saints coach is not shying away from showing his passion when he disagrees with some calls on the field, either.

Rizzi goes nuts on refs

During the first quarter, the Saints tried a deep shot to tight end Juwan Johnson. Clearly, Johnson was tugged before the ball arrived by Rams defensive back Quentin Lake. There was no penalty called.

Then, later in the quarter, Saints offensive lineman Trevor Penning was called for an illegal low block penalty.

On replay, it was quite clear that Penning did not actually try to block the player that he clipped. He had tripped while blocking a different Rams defender, and the other one fell over him during the play.

On both occasions, the referees made a mistake. Rizzi let them know about it on the sideline. He was quite displeased, for good reason.

For New Orleans, they know referee blunders against the Rams all too well. Fans will never forget the missed call in the NFC Championship just a handful of years ago.
