The Las Vegas Raiders are prepping for battle against their divisional rival the Denver Broncos, a team that is a lot better than most thought they would be. Rookie quarterback Bo Nix looks like he could be offensive rookie of the year, after Brock Bowers, of course. And their defense looks like one of the best in the league.
But, we have already seen that, after the Raiders got blown out by them a few weeks ago. In that game, the Raiders started strong, with a big touchdown by Brock Bowers to start the game, and an endzone pick-six by Gardner Minshew completely flipping the game on its head.
The Raiders are ready, even though fans around the world are really hoping they lose this game so that they can get a better draft position for the 2025 NFL Draft.
And, the fact that there are some very big key injuries on the Raiders this game, makes that even more likely. The Raiders have made some practice squad elevations before the game to help them out.
On Saturday they elevated #36, cornerback Kyu Blu Kelly and #28 running back Sincere McCormick, who played against the Broncos the last time these two teams met, from the practice squad.
These are key elevations because the Raiders are without their starting CB in Jakorian Bennett and Zamir White out as well. After their game with Broncos, the Raiders play the Kansas City Chiefs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Atlanta Falcons.
Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers just had the best game of any rookie at his position ever
The Raiders have a special kid.
