There was no stopping Saquon Barkley in Sunday's night's primetime matchup.
The Philadelphia Eagles running back had a dominant game against the Los Angles Rams.
He finished with 26 carries for a career-high 255 yards and two touchdowns, along with four receptions for 46 yards.
That brought his total rushing yards for the 2024 season up to 1,392. And another star running back who also has over 1,000 rushing yards couldn't help but voice his appreciation for Barkley after that game.
"@saquon GO CRAZY GANGSTA !! 😤😤💪🏾💪🏾," Derrick Henry posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.
He's not kidding. Barkley really did "go crazy."
But he remained humble after the game, giving credit to his offensive line.
"It [starts] up front," Barkley said on the live NBC broadcast after the game. "Everybody up front did an excellent job. … Just continue to trust in the scheme and trust in those guys. They make me look a lot better out there."
However, Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts wasn't afraid to praise the running back for his career night.
"He's a hell of a player," Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts said of Barkley after the win with a giant smile on his face. "He's the best in the league. He's the best at what he does."
And it's clear that Barkley is loving his time in Philadelphia.
"They [Eagles] welcomed me with open arms," Barkley said. "I'm having fun. I'm ready to go out there and continue to play at a high level and get ready for next week."
Because of his incredible performance, Barkley has become a front-runner in the MVP race. He impressed many last night, and that includes Henry.
