The 2025 NFL Draft is now a major point of attention for numerous NFL teams. As injuries affect player rosters, coaching choices fall short, and various teams struggle, the leading contenders have set themselves apart.
In our latest mock draft for 2025, we've integrated the most recent assessments from the college football landscape. And the best part? It’s a comprehensive 7-round mock draft for 2025. We based our predictions on the current draft order as we enter NFL Week 13.
Which player will your favorite team choose? Many things could shift with half the season still remaining and an entire free agency period ahead. But for now, this is how I envision the draft playing out.
7-Round 2025 NFL Mock Draft
1) Jacksonville Jaguars: Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado
This is all about getting the best player possible. While I wouldn't rank Travis Hunter as the top overall corner or receiver, he's the type of impact person and player who can transform the franchise. This is also an obvious trade spot where Jacksonville could net some assets while still landing Hunter later. Oh, by the way, I'd play Hunter at receiver.
2) New York Giants: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
Shedeur Sanders possesses the intelligence, work ethic, precision, and creativity necessary to become a top-10 NFL quarterback. It's clear to me that Sanders is the standout passer in this draft class. I hope the Giants stick with Brian Daboll in this situation, as I love his scheme and believe he can build a good unit with the right quarterback.
3) Las Vegas Raiders: Cameron Ward, QB, Miami (FL)
I'd have a hard time selling myself on taking Cameron Ward this high, but I see the appeal. Despite the tendency to make boneheaded throws, Ward is an elite athlete with a terrific throwing motion. He's got the guts needed to overcome his bad decisions, too, which is needed. Las Vegas is the right team to roll the dice.
4) New England Patriots: James Pearce Jr., EDGE, Tennessee
With Drake Maye symbolizing the Patriots' offensive future, New England is well-positioned to secure a significant trade package. No tackle or receiver surpasses James Pearce Jr. The agile and quick pass-rusher could be a cornerstone for New England's defense for the next decade.
5) Carolina Panthers: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
Is Bryce Young turning a corner? He's at least earning the right to get another year. However, Carolina needs more playmaking to help him. The towering 6-foot-5, 210-pound Tetairoa McMillan displays superior agility and fluidity in his routes while also showcasing dominance at the catch point.
6) Tennessee Titans: Kelvin Banks, OT, Texas
Like Young, Will Levis has shown some signs of life. While that shouldn't dictate whether Tennessee adds a quarterback in the class, it's at least worth entertaining Levis is on the path to real improvement. If so, then landing another quality blocker is paramount. Kelvin Banks is that dude in pass pro.
7) New York Jets: Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama
Shockingly, the Aaron Rodgers experiment went horribly wrong. The future will come quickly for the New York Jets. Jalen Milroe is probably best off transferring from Alabama, but if he enters, it's impossible to deny he'd be taken highly. There aren't many players who can do what Milroe does when everything is clicking. Getting the right coach matters.
8) Cleveland Browns: Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
There's not a quarterback I want here, and with several key needs at aging positions, the Browns take the highest-rated player on my board. With Denzel Ward's career in flux due to concussions, Martin Emerson getting the soul sucked out of him by the MonStars, and Greg Newsome in a contract year, Will Johnson can be Cleveland's Sauce Gardner.
9) New Orleans Saints: Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State
It looked ordained for the Saints to get their next quarterback, but they screwed the pooch by winning this past week. Landing Abdul Carter is a great consolation prize. He's tremendous, using great power and speed to overwhelm blockers. New Orleans can add a quarterback later.
10) Cincinnati Bengals: Mason Graham, DT, Michigan
Cincinnati is in for a tough offseason after not paying their top playmakers, but that's how they do business. Luther Burden is tempting, but he's awfully similar to Ja'Marr Chase. I'm not ready to predict that trade just yet. Instead, Cincinnati nabs an elite defensive tackle prospect to revamp their defense around.
11) Dallas Cowboys: Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri
Dallas can't pass on a receiver here, especially considering their offensive depth chart. Luther Burden III could serve as a key target alongside CeeDee Lamb. Burden provides exceptional ability to make plays after the catch and is versatile as a deep threat.
12) Chicago Bears: Will Campbell, OT, LSU
As Chicago approaches their pick in this part of the first round, the discussion about whether to focus on a pass rusher or an offensive lineman grows more intriguing. At this point, they choose Will Campbell, who has the versatility to thrive as either a tackle or a guard. It's crucial for the Bears to avoid repeating past mistakes with Caleb Williams, which ultimately influences their decision.
13) Indianapolis Colts: Malaki Starks, SAF, Georgia
The Colts have effectively harnessed the potential of their relatively unheralded cornerback group, considering the strength of their current defensive lineup. While choosing a cornerback makes sense, the talent gap with Malaki Starks is too significant to ignore. Starks has outstanding range, tackling skills, and instincts that are rare to find.
14) Miami Dolphins: Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon
Miami's offense has stabilized since Tua Tagovailoa returned, reducing the immediate need to add an offensive lineman or even a Tyreek Hill replacement. With needs at every layer of the defense, going to the interior for an impact pass-rusher is a good investment. Derrick Harmon has been the most productive and disruptive tackle in the nation for good reason.
15) Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M
Teams greatly appreciate versatile players, and Nic Scourton is a prime example of that. At 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 285 pounds, he is capable of filling multiple positions and has a significant athletic advantage. Given that the Buccaneers already have solid tackles, allowing Scourton to focus on a specific role on the edge will help him excel without the pressure of having to change his body.
16) Los Angeles Rams: Isaiah Bond, WR, Texas
If you remember Tutu Atwell, then this pick won't be too strange. While Isaiah Bond is quite different as an eventual successor to Cooper Kupp, Sean McVay will get an actually good football player in Bond, unlike Atwell. Bond has elite speed but is so much more, boasting good route-running and versatility to win from any alignment.
17) San Francisco 49ers: Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia
This might be a rough offseason for the San Francisco 49ers as they deal with an aging, expensive, worsening roster. They have a ton of money to spend, but holes are popping up everywhere. Mykel Williams isn't a Day 1 star, but his freaky athleticism is too good to pass. He can finally be a long-term answer across Nick Bosa.
18) Arizona Cardinals: Trey Amos, CB, Ole Miss
A fast-riser this fall, Trey Amos is in a good position to land in the first round. At 6-foot-1, 190 pounds, and allowing about half his targets to be completed, Amos fits the bill to be a big-time playmaker. Arizona needs talent all over its defense, and Amos has the ball skills to justify taking him over the remaining edge guys.
19) Atlanta Falcons: Shavon Revel Jr., CB, East Carolina
Although Shavon Revel Jr. is coming off a torn ACL, his pre-injury tape and athleticism were unreal. Atlanta has done well to get the most out of their cornerback group. Still, Revel has the talent to make A.J. Terrel a No. 2. Again, we're going with a corner over an edge, but that's more about this pass-rush class being lackluster compared to a great corner crop.
20) Seattle Seahawks: Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State
Tyler Warren, a game-changing playmaker, has transformed the Penn State offense and is precisely the type of player Ryan Grubb will value. The Seahawks already have impressive athletic talent, but adding another versatile offensive asset would be advantageous. Although this pick might be seen as a luxury rather than a necessity for a tackle, there's a chance that the long-term outlook for Abraham Lucas isn't as dire as it seems.
21) Washington Commanders: Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State
Brandon Coleman, selected in the third round of the 2024 draft, holds promise for Washington at one of the tackle spots, but they still require an additional tackle. Prior to his ACL injury sustained in a game against Oregon, Josh Simmons showcased impressive skills at Ohio State. His strength and athleticism stand out, and he should be prepared to make an impact as a starter in his rookie year once he fully recovers.
22) Houston Texans: Jalon Walker, LB/EDGE, Georgia
The Houston Texans have gone about as far as they can without better defensive talent in the back seven of the unit. Jalon Walker's ability to play both middle linebacker and on the edge gives him a three-down impact that distinguishes him from many off-ball players. Weighing in at 245 pounds, he is robustly built, combining impressive strength with unexpected speed.
23) Denver Broncos: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
Forget the hate about first-round running backs. The position is back, and Ashton Jeanty will be the next iteration of a superstar. Denver is seeing Bo Nix hit his stride, and the best way to continue that is to give Sean Payton the closest back to Alvin Kamara as humanely possible.
24) Los Angeles Chargers: Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State
This one is quite easy. While Jim Harbaugh had success against Emeka Egbuka in college, he surely gained great respect for the Ohio State baller. Egbuka brings exactly what Los Angeles lacks at the receiver position, including reliability and versatility. He can be a Pro Bowler with Justin Herbert.
25) Baltimore Ravens: Shemar Stewart, EDGE/DL, Texas A&M
Shemar Stewart is a physical monster, and his ability to rush the passer from different locations adds to his value. Standing at 6 feet 6 inches and weighing 290 pounds, he's a powerhouse capable of winning with speed and strength. Baltimore loves these types, and Stewart can be their next Calais Campbell-esque presence.
26) Pittsburgh Steelers: Tacario Davis, CB, Arizona
Deploying two sizable cornerbacks who can disrupt receivers with their physicality would not only establish a unique identity for Pittsburgh's secondary but also complement their overall playing style. Tacario Davis has risen to prominence as one of the leading corners in 2024, allowing only half of his targets to be completed. At 6-foot-4, he is perfectly tailored for Pittsburgh’s zone scheme and off-ball positioning.
27) Green Bay Packers: LT Overton, EDGE, Alabama
Green Bay nets a solid value here as their defensive front needs rebuilding. Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 280 pounds, LT Overton has significantly improved this year and has emerged as Alabama's top defender. Overton would benefit from Green Bay's multi-front approach and high-end coaching.
28) Minnesota Vikings: Darien Porter, CB, Iowa State
A former receiver-turned-corner, Darien Porter is another gigantic defender making his way up draft boards. He's been one of the best statistical corners in the class, and his 6-foot-4 frame is promising for what's next. A savant in zone, Porter would thrive with Brian Flores' aggressive defense, so long as he can catch onto the concepts.
29) Philadelphia Eagles: Nick Emmanwori, SAF, South Carolina
I love giant safeties, and Nick Emmanwori is the perfect guy for the modern NFL. A demon in the box with elite tackling presence, but also smooth enough to drop into zones and target misguided throws to underneath targets, Emmanwori has worked his way from a Day 3 project to first-round talent. Philadelphia's young secondary corps just gets better.
30) Buffalo Bills: Landon Jackson, EDGE, Arkansas
The Buffalo Bills have tried to find another star end, but injuries and stalled development have left them going back to the well. Standing at 6-foot-7 and weighing 280 pounds, Landon Jackson is perfectly suited as a strong-side pass-rusher and can immediately step onto the field for a team with playoff aspirations. Would he work with Greg Rousseau? I think so, but the giant duo might not be what Sean McDermott prefers.
31) Kansas City Chiefs: Walter Nolen, DT, Ole Miss
It's hard to knock Kansas City's success, but the roster is starting to age and needs to hit on its defensive line revamp. Walter Nolen might not be a Year 1 star despite his speed and disruptiveness, but his disruptive nature can be terrific in a reserve role. Imagining him developing next to Chris Jones and the other younger defenders is an ideal position to be in.
32) Detroit Lions: Princely Umanmielen, EDGE, Ole Miss
There are few choices for standout talent on the board, but Princely Umanmielen is still a potential first-round candidate. The Lions are in desperate need of a player to pair with Aidan Hutchinson, especially given Hutchinson's injury situation. Umanmielen brings remarkable speed, excellent flexibility, and a strong work ethic, making him a perfect fit as a secondary pass-rusher.
Round 2
33) New York Giants: Cameron Williams, OT, Texas
34) Las Vegas Raiders: Tre Harris, WR, Ole Miss
35) Jacksonville Jaguars: Jonah Savaiinaea, OL, Arizona
36) New England Patriots: Wyatt Milum, OT, West Virginia
37) Tennessee Titans: Kyle Kennard, EDGE, South Carolina
