Cleveland Browns will have their Week 13 game on the road in Denver against the Broncos in just a few days on Monday night. Until then, there is plenty of football on the television to get you through.

With it being Thanksgiving Day and the news cycle being quiet while everyone is surrounded by family eating food and football; I thought it would be a great time to run a three-round mock draft for the Browns.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Round 1, Pick 8: RB Ashton Jeanty, Boise State

Forget the talk of not drafting a running back on Day 1. Throw that out the window as running backs have proven their worth this season and we have a special one with this selection. Jeanty is ultra-productive and can do it all. Having already crossed 2,000 yards rushing this season, Jeanty has rushed for 4,230 yards in under three full seasons at Boise State.

Nick Chubb doesn’t look like his old self just yet since returning, but he could still get there. Even if he does, the Browns should take the best player available at No. 8 and that is Jeanty. The best offensive player in college football is a Day 1 starter in the NFL and should have a big year as a rookie.

Round 2, Pick 40: DE Landon Jackson, Arkansas

Arkansas Razorbacks defensive lineman Landon Jackson (40) celebrates after sacking Louisiana Tech Bulldogs quarterback Evan Bullock (7) during the fourth quarter at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. Arkansas won 35-14.

Perhaps Isaiah McGuire or Alex Wright can be the eventual starter across from Myles Garrett, but we have not seen enough to know that just yet. So, why not add another productive SEC pass rusher to the mix?

Jackson has 6.5 sacks so far this season, the same amount that he had last year. A big, strong, 275-pound frame off the edge that is physically imposing and has a high motor. Jackson has a chance to be a solid starter in the NFL.

Round 3, Pick 72: OT Jonah Savaiinaea, Arizona

Cleveland needs to add more tackle depth this offseason even if they do envision Dawand Jones and Jack Conklin starting next season. Conklin isn’t getting any younger, so finding another offensive tackle who can start in the near future is a must.

Savaiinaea would give the Browns a 6-foot-5, 335-pound tackle that has the versatility to play in a guard spot. The versatility alone is impressive, but so is the moving ability of Savaiinaea. As a freshman, Savaiinaea started every game at right guard before moving to right tackle last season.
