The Pittsburgh Steelers might be 10-3 but the next three games are going to tell everyone exactly who this team is.

That's because starting next Sunday, the Steelers play a daunting three-game stretch, with a two-game road trip against the Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Ravens before a Christmas Day extravaganza against the Kansas City Chiefs.

What's harder than that? Playing all three of those games in a 10-day period.

That's something Steelers safety DeShon Elliott didn't take a liking to:

NFL has it out for Pittsburgh?

"We know it now. We've been knowing it for the last couple weeks. But shoot, we've got to line up and play," Elliott said about the upcoming schedule. "It's just going to show us how good we can be. No excuses obviously…

"…The penalties and the flags that happened today, I feel like the league kinda hates us already so, it's all right. We're going go out here, we're going to play those games, we're going to work our butts off and hopefully go out and be 3-0."

When you're in the heat of the moment, I'm sure it seems like every call that goes against you is magnified, and the Steelers get their fair share of breaks and bad calls just like everyone else.

But as Elliott said, they knew this stretch of games was coming. Pittsburgh was granted the toughest schedule when it was first released back in the spring, and the next three games are the main reason for that.

But to say the league has it out for one of the biggest brands in all of sports is a little rich. But if we know anything about Deshon Elliott, he's unafraid to speak his mind, and I doubt Mike Tomlin and the Steelers would want it any other way.
