The Las Vegas Raiders may have one of the worst teams in the entire NFL, but they also have two of the best players in the NFL at their own respected positions. Of course, there is Maxx Crosby, who everyone knows and loves. He is the best defensive end in the league when you talk about a guy who does it all.

And, surprisingly, they have a guy like that on the offensive side of the ball as well, even though their offense is one of the worst in the entire league. There have really only been two bright spots on the offensive side of the ball — running back Alexander Mattison and tight end Brock Bowers.

As for Bowers, the rookie tight end, when you look at the numbers, he is already the best in the league in terms of his position. Yes, it's a down year in the league this season for tight ends. But, Bowers has capitalized on that and leads the league or is near the top in every single category for a tight end.

He started the Raiders' game against the Kansas City Chiefs great. But for some reason, they started to go away from him. Pierce didn't really give a great answer as to why, but it cost them on the goal line when they should have come away with not only points but the lead.

But, that is a different story for another day.

Bowers is the next big thing in the NFL, especially at the tight end position. And, the greatest to ever do it knows that, too. Travis Kelce, the best to ever do it, respectfully, acknowledged Bowers after the game in the perfect way possible.

"I'm going to shoot my jersey to your locker," Kelce told Bowers after the game while they took a picture together.

Kelce knows that Bowers is legit. And, he's only going to get better. And who's to say they haven't worked out together before during tight-end university? The Raiders have themselves a dawg.

We will get to see him against some decent pass defenses in the next few weeks when the Raiders play the Cincinnati Bengals, Denver Broncos, Miami Dolphins and the Chiefs again.
