So many quotes, not enough time.

A lot is said at Gillette Stadium each and every week as the New England Patriots season continues.

It's a new era for the Patriots, with head coach Jerod Mayo leading the way and a whole new look to the offense with Jacoby Brissett in the pocket. Not to mention the continued dominance from the defense.

With all the important quotes throughout the week, A to Z Sports is starting a new weekly story where we will put in key things that the players and coaches say ahead of their matchups.

Next up: Week 7 against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London.

Drake Maye on his knee injury:

"Yeah, I'm feeling good. These last two days, I felt good out there at practice. I’m feeling good now and ready to go for Sunday."

Jerod Mayo on Drake's injury:

"I'm not sure if it was a residual from the game or not. What I will say is he looks good. He's been out there at practice and taking the majority of the reps."

Offensive Coordinator Alex Van Pelt on Drake's injury:

“I’m not concerned. … He looked good to me yesterday.”

Drake Maye on why international fans should support the Patriots:

"First off, I think it comes from the team name, New England. I think it's easy for U.K. fans to be attracted to that. Our colors are pretty sweet; they represent a lot of different things. From there, just kind of the excitement for the team. I think we’re on the come up, and we've got a lot of things to look forward to, a lot of bright futures ahead. Shout out to all the fans that are already Patriot fans over here and look forward to having some more."

__

Jerod Mayo on the future:

"Yeah, one thing I would say is that we're hitting the reset button and looking forward to building something special. Building the next dynasty, and it starts with, obviously, through the draft and developing, but also through free agency. We look to get back on top here pretty soon."

Special Teams Coordinator Jeremy Springer on Brenden Schooler's contract extension:

“The fact that 30 coaches texted me and telling me, ‘Hey, it’s really good you locked him up because I’ll tell you right now if you didn’t do that, he was going to go somewhere and get locked up for a pretty good amount of money,’” Springer said. “That lets you know how many coaches respect him around the league and what he means to the team that they would actually do that right now in the season. He’s a phenomenal leader for us. A phenomenal guy. He deserves everything.”

__

Austin Hooper on his fumble in the loss to the Houston Texans:

“I put a ball on the ground and I hurt the team. Part of that loss (last week) is on me.”

__

Kendrick Bourne on Drake Maye:

"The future’s bright.”

__

Kendrick Bourne on Kayshon Boutte:

“He took an energy shift. He took an attitude shift to where, ‘I’m going to be on the field this year. There’s no doubt in my mind that I’m going to make the team.’ Those mindsets are who we need on the field to win.”

“He’s so locked in. He knows the playbook really well.”

__

Alex Van Pelt on Drake Maye:

“You always play to your guys’ strengths, and one of Drake’s strengths is pushing the ball downfield with accuracy.”
