The NFL put out their fines on Saturday and they absolutely beat the Carolina Panthers up this week. Three different players got fined and they all got fined a decent amount. Here's what they owe the league:
Tommy Tremble: Unnecessary roughness
This one really sucks for two reasons. The first is that Tremble got hurt on this play. The second is that the NFL is now fining him $17,083 to basically get injured. That's essentially a new entry level car with a basic package.
Jaycee Horn: Unnecessary roughness
Ok, it's hard not to understand this one. Horn got in a fight and threw some shots at Bears players. You just can't do that. He got fined $11,817 for this.
D.J. Johnson: Unnecessary roughness
Johnson put a late hit on a guy early in the fourth quarter and the NFL is fining him $6,948 for the penalty. All told, the Panthers racked up $35,848 in fines in Week 5.
