The Las Vegas Raiders are off to a worse start than they were last season under Josh McDaniels. So, this has left the fan base with a lot of questions. Was Antonio Pierce the right hire as head coach? Is this roster even close to a playoff roster? Is the team distracted by Davante Adams' trade request? Will this offense ever get their stuff together?

Well, I can confidently answer none of those for you. But, what I can do as a reporter and writer, is feed you information that may make you feel better about your fandom. It may be a miserable time to be a Raiders fan right now, but, better days could be ahead, believe it or not.

At least, that's what running back Ameer Abdullah thinks. He's recommending that fans just hang in there a bit longer — something good could be on the way.

"Man, I have seen a lot of big turnarounds," Abdullah said after the big loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. "I've been around teams where we started 1-5 and then we end up making the playoffs, you know. So, it darn sure isn't over, you know. We have a lot of ball to play and a lot to build off of."

The Las Vegas Raiders have won two games they maybe shouldn't have when you consider everything. They beat the Baltimore Ravens, who are one of the best teams in football. They beat the Cleveland Browns without their two best players and five other starters out.

But, they have lost to more than a few teams they should have beaten, like the Carolina Panthers, the Los Angeles Chargers, and the Denver Broncos. When they can win the games they are supposed to, the Raiders will be in good shape. But, the damage may already be done for a playoff hope.
