The city of Detroit's social media team drags the life out of Saints receiver Equanimeous St. Brown after his comments on the city in front of Lions receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown

Sometimes people talk and other times people talk too much. The latter is exactly what happened with Lions receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown's older brother Equanimeous St. Brown on last week's St. Brown Bros. podcast.

The two were talking about which city was better, New Orleans or Detroit. Equanimeous, who is on the Saints practice squad, then went off a little too much on Detroit.

"No one's going there. I promise you, it's, I think it's a Delta hub, as you say, is like a layover destination. That's what I think it is. I think a lot of people outside of Detroit would agree with me, like, if they could choose to live anywhere in the world or the country, they would not choose Detroit. They would choose to live like in Florida or like California. What did what did your teammate say? he's like, it's always cloudy and gray. New Orleans is tropical weather."

Look, I get it, this is something we've all heard for a long time and it's almost always from people that have very little experience in the city of Detroit or state of Michigan. They've been here maybe a few times and then think they have the area down to a science or something.

Maybe it's because the Lions didn't want the older St. Brown and he's still upset about that, but he doesn't know anything about the city and we encourage him to spend some real time here. Of course he may not want to do that after the city of Detroit's social media team dragged the life out of him and then dropped a big fact on his head.

I will agree that New Orleans is an amazing city and I recommend that Lions fans really take in all it has to offer this February.
