The Las Vegas Raiders are currently trying to move wide receiver Davante Adams. But, while he awaits his trade, a lot of fans seem to think he's holding out, or simply just not playing because he doesn't want to be a part of the team anymore. And, part of that is true. But part of it is not.

Here's the deal about Adams, and you can believe it or not — he's going to play football if he can play football. He's not going to just sit out when he's healthy. Now, we have heard from insiders that this is an actual hamstring injury, not just a stunt so he can sit. But, now there is another question fans are asking.

With how this trade process is going, and it's going very, very slowly, fans think there is a chance that Adams could come back from injury before he's traded. And, that could happen. But, if that did happen, what would the Raiders do?

"He's still a Raider. He's never not been a Raider," head coach Antonio Pierce said when asked if Adams will play when he gets healthy despite the trade request. "Davante is doing well, closer & closer to getting back on the practice field…He’s still a Raider…he’s just not healthy right now. We talked recently and had a good conversation and he’s ready to play football.”

"When he’s healthy and can play, we’ll play him …," Pierce added. "He’s working every day to get that hamstring right and he’s in the right headspace mentally. Like I said, we talked recently, and had a good conversation."

The Las Vegas Raiders could still use him. The offense isn't good right now, and not having Adams is not helping. They feel like they are a playoff team, because, well, why wouldn't they? So, if having Adams still in the lineup helps them, win games, they are going to do that.

The only thing is, well, Adams isn't healthy. He will not play against the Pittsburgh Steelers after missing games against the Cleveland Browns and Denver Broncos. Now, we will just have to wait and see who he gets traded to. Will it be the New York Jets, or maybe the Buffalo Bills? Only time will tell.
