The Las Vegas Raiders came into their matchup with the Denver Broncos as the underdog, purely because of the injuries they have going against them. 18 players have reported injuries the last week and were on the injury report. Seven of them are out, five of those seven being starters.

The last thing they needed was another injury. Unfortunately for them, that's what happened, to their second-best player.

Against the Broncos on Sunday, the Raiders started great. They went up 10-0 in the first quarter off the likes of Gardner Minshew and Brock Bowers. Then, something happened, and they haven't scored since.

The defense played well, but it started to fall off quickly. If you noticed, the Raiders were without their second-best player the entire second half. Defensive tackle Christian Wilkins was listed as OUT coming back from the break.

Wilkins had a big-time sack in the game but appeared to injure his foot afterward. That's exactly what the Raiders didn't need. This is not an issue they had against the Los Angeles Chargers, Baltimore Ravens or Carolina Panthers.
