Vikings on track to make Super Bowl

Throughout the first five games, the Vikings have trailed for a total of 3:26, the fifth-lowest for a team that started 5-0 since the AFL/NFL merger in 1970. It's an impressive mark for the Vikings but it's the end result for the company they are surrounded with.

It's an impressive group of teams the Vikings are joining who all have one thing in common: they played in the Super Bowl that year. Those teams are 3-2 in the biggest game of the year, including last year's San Francisco 49ers squad that the Vikings beat 22-17 on Monday Night Football.

The Vikings trailing for a total of 3:26 this season isn't just a remarkable number, it's more impressive when you consider they trailed that entire amount in the first quarter of the season opener. They haven't trailed once in the last 19 quarters.

It's highly unlikely for the Vikings to keep up this pace, but it's a great start that will help propel them potentially further than they have been in nearly 50 years.
