A six-time Super Bowl champion coach has some faith in the New Orleans Saints against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 5. They'll have to beat the back-to-back Super Bowl champs at Arrowhead in order to prove him right.

Bill Belichick thinks Saints defense will give Chiefs problems

The legendary head coach gave props to Dennis Allen for his work on the defensive side of the football on The Pat McAfee Show. He also points out how the Saints' pass rush needs to key in on the left tackle for the Chiefs, to make Patrick Mahomes uncomfortable.

"If New Orleans can get the running game going against Kansas City… that will be great for them… but I also think they need to hit some passes…You gotta score to beat Kansas City. I don't think you're gonna win with 13 points." — Bill Belichick

You can tell that Belichick has a lot of respect for the proven talent on New Orleans' defense. Guys like Tyrann Mathieu and Demario Davis must make impactful plays if the team wants to pull of the upset in KC.

We will see if New Orleans' offense can make some fireworks happen. The run game will be missing an important piece without Taysom Hill, but still expect Klint Kubiak to get Alvin Kamara involved early and often.

The passing game must take shots against a Chiefs secondary who are allowing just 227.8 passing yards per game. In order to make those happen, the Saints offensive line must hold up against Chris Jones and his fellow DL.

Is that an incredibly tall task? It sure is. That's what it takes to slay an undefeated giant, though.

If New Orleans can find a way to win, the Saints will sit at 3-2 after five games of play.
