The Las Vegas Raiders have been dealt a pretty bad hand to start the season. This was supposed to be the season they really take the jump, and, unfortunately, they haven't started the season very well, with two losses against the Los Angeles Chargers and Carolina Panthers, which they should have won.

The bright side is, they beat the Baltimore Ravens, who they shouldn't have beaten. So, the good football is there, they just have to unlock it. Maybe, they can do that against the Cleveland Browns.

But, it will be hard to do, especially defensively where they are dealing with so many injuries. Maxx Crosby is obviously not 100%. They lost Malcolm Koonce to start the season and are now on IR, and the same can be said for safety Marcus Epps, who was put on IR this week, as he tore his ACL against the Panthers.

All of that is bad news, and it feels like that's all this team keeps getting. However, the Raiders have finally gotten some good news in regards to the injuries they are getting.

According to Tashan Reed of The Athletic, Koonce had successful surgery on Tuesday to repair a torn ACL and is expected to make a full recovery, good enough to be available and ready to go for the 2025 season.

This is the kind of great news that not only the Raiders needed, but the fan base as well.
