It's been a rough week for former Minnesota Vikings quarterbacks. On Tuesday, Brett Favre revealed in front of the United States congress that he was recently diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Wednesday brought another admission with this one coming from former first-round pick Tommy Kramer.

He took to Twitter/X to inform the public that he was diagnosed with dimentia at the NFL Cleveland Clinic just over a year ago.

It's an unfortunate thing for Kramer who dealt with injuries for the entirety of his career. He announced earlier this year that he had quit drinking and was doing his partying with non-alcoholic beverages.

Former players being diagnosed with brain injuries after their playing days is a sad truth about playing in the National Football League. The league is currently doing a great job in trying to improve things for the players but there are multiple generations who didn't have that available to them.

We send our best wishes to Kramer and his family.
