The Tennessee Vols have been viewed recently as the favorites for 2026 four-star offensive lineman Gabriel Osenda, but it appears that the Georgia Bulldogs are now firmly in the mix after recently offering the talented recruit.

"Tennessee has been considered the early front-runner for the massive four-star offensive tackle from Chattanooga (Tenn.) Baylor School," wrote Rivals.com's Adam Gorney this week. "But the chatter is that a new Georgia offer 'definitely changes some things'."

Florida, Syracuse, Auburn, Minnesota, Ole Miss, and UCLA are also in the mix for Osenda.

Osenda, who is originally from Clearwater, FL, is rated in On3's industry rankings as the No. 22 offensive tackle in the nation and the No. 10 player in the state of Tennessee.

The four-star recruit visited Tennessee last month for the Vols' wins against Florida, Alabama, and Kentucky.

“Whenever I am there, they make me feel like family and Tennessee is definitely No. 1 for me,” said Osenda recently to On3 of his interest in the Vols. “I have been three. When I was there for the Kentucky game, it was loud and energetic. The fans showed up and made sure to be loud.”

Tennessee currently has six players committed to its 2026 recruiting class, which is ranked No. 5 in the nation.
