Houston Texans general manager Nick Caserio may make a huge mistake at the NFL Trade Deadline

The 2024 NFL Trade Deadline is here. Well, it's almost here, concluding at 4 PM EST. But for the Houston Texans, it seems like they won't really be worried about the time it ends.
Let's start here: The Houston Texans are one of the best teams in the entire NFL when they are healthy. And they aren't the healthiest. Like every team, they have sustained crucial injuries on both sides of the ball. But now C.J. Stroud is without Nico Collins and Stefon Diggs, and his best receiver, Tank Dell, seems to be getting a lot of defensive attention every game.
But that's not even where the biggest issues are; it's just one on the list. They cannot seem to protect Stroud, who has been sacked 30 times this year, three less than the most in the league. You can't win a Super Bowl without a good offensive line protecting the most valuable thing to your franchise.
So, you would expect the Texans, and specifically general manager Nick Caserio, to be aggressive on Tuesday during the trade deadline, right?
Wrong.
According to Jonathan Alexander of the Houston Chronicle, the Texans aren't expected to make any moves at the deadline, even though they desperately need some help on the offensive line.
They just signed former Chicago Bears offensive lineman and former Tennessee Volunteers stud Jerome Carvin to the practice squad. And, that could be nothing. He could be just a practice squad player. Or he could be the guy to save the offensive line, we just don't know.
Either way, I think making a move at the deadline would be ideal. The Texans play the Detroit Lions on Sunday Night Football next.
Texans GM Nick Caserio may very well do the exact opposite of what everyone thinks he’ll do at trade deadline
The Texans could do nothing.
