Bengals QB Joe Burrow has the perfect quip about supporting star WR Ja'Marr Chase's immaculate season

Somehow the Cincinnati Bengals are 4-6 despite this, but that's not the point here. Burrow and Chase are thriving statistically because of each other.
Communication is a big reason why, especially when it's honest.
Burrow learned Monday afternoon when speaking to reporters that Chase is on track to winning the receiver triple crown as the current leader in all three major categories through 10 games. And while Chase isn't always in his ear about seeing more
"Depends," Burrow said to reporters. "Sometimes it's on the sideline, sometimes it's an individual conversation in locker room. Sometimes it's through [the media].
"There's a lot of different ways that a receiver can tell you, 'Hey, give me the f**king ball.'"
Hot mic, Joe! Hot mic!
Getting Chase the ball has not been a problem for Burrow as evidenced by Chase's league-leading 66 receptions this year. It certainly wasn't an issue last Thursday when the three-time Pro Bowler put up 264 yards and three touchdowns against the Baltimore Ravens.
"When we're on the same page like that, it's always fun," Burrow said.
No need for any expletives in that case. It's not like ever used one in that way anyways.
"I'm not sure he's said that directly to me, no," Burrow said. "But maybe a glance tells me that."
Surely "I'm always f**cking open" qualifies as well.
Burrow to Chase is one of the few good things the Bengals have going for them right now. At this rate, the latter will make history as the third receiver in the last 20 years to win the triple crown title. The former will keep feeding him to keep that possibility alive.
In a season that's been as frustrating as any, it's good to see Cincinnati's franchise quarterback drop his guard for a second about his favorite target.
