Jayden Daniels is the star of the Washington Commanders offense and there's no debate about that, but running back Brian Robinson Jr. is a major cog that deserves almost the same amount of attention from both the outside and opposing defenses.

Robinson Jr. has missed the last two games, but that's going to change in Week 11 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Robinson Jr. was removed from Wednesday's final injury report, which means he's good to go for Thursday night's key divisional showdown.

It's great news for Daniels and the Commanders offense. The team is 1-2 in the games Robinson Jr. has missed and the rushing offense, and unit as a whole, isn't the same when he's on the sidelines.

In the 10 games that Robinson has played, the Commanders' rushing offense has averaged 5.38 yards per carry and 2 rushing touchdowns per game, per Pro Football Reference. In the three games without BRob, it's resulted in an average of 2.7 yards per carry and 1.3 rushing touchdowns per game.

And something that goes beyond numbers – when Robinson plays, the toughness and the “heart” of the team increases even more than is already there.

Marshon Lattimore's injury and the Commanders offensive line updates are important as well

Lattimore is out with a hamstring injury. At this point, it's fair to wonder when he'll make his debut. It's a situation of both help and "getting up to speed" in terms of the playbook.

But a bigger question lies among the Commanders' top-3 tackles in Brandon Coleman, Cornelius Lucas, and Andrew Wylie. The reason I mention all three is because, as we all know, Washington has been rotating Coleman and Lucas at left tackle. Lucas missed the last two games and Dan Quinn put Trent Scott in at right tackle last week, despite Andrew Wylie practicing all week as a limited participant.

Meaning, it's not guaranteed that any of those guys play this week, especially since it's on a short week. A quick update would be that Quinn's Wednesday presser bodes well for Lucas and Wylie, specifically.

"Yeah, they both had good work yesterday. We did kind of some individual [tests] and then we got really more today, at not full speed, but enough where we could punch and go and be aggressive, and so Cornelius and Andrew both did a good job today," Quinn told reporters.

We'll see how things shake out when the Commanders release their inactives around 7:45pm ET, but so far, things are looking good for the burgundy and gold. Either way, they'll have Robinson Jr. on the field, which only helps in both the short- and long-term.
