The SEC continues to provide entertainment, even if its one coach misunderstanding the point of another. Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin remains one of the best personalities to cover in the sport. He provided a fiery response to Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko after the latter discussed having so many night games.

Previously, Elko showed happiness that Texas A&M kept getting evening kickoffs after Kiffin criticized the SEC over LSU's night-heavy schedule. Elko joked that he'd trade with Kiffin next season as a favor.

“Another night game at Kyle Field,” Elko said Wednesday. “We appreciate those. Apparently, that’s all we play anymore. … We get them all and Lane wants more, so that’s okay. Him and I, we’ll swap next year or something.”

Of course, Kiffin responded.

"Trade you anytime Coach. Not fair to our fans. Btw check out QB play and scoring at night home and on the road 🤔 ," Kiffin tweeted.

Previously, Kiffin had this to say about LSU's scheduling favors:

“So, who went at night? LSU gets to play at night again, I guess? Shocker. That’s two for two for them.”

While fans were quick to criticize Kiffin in the comments since Elko's comments were quite lighthearted, the Ole Miss head coach has a point in his overall message. The Rebels have played before nightfall in the majority of games this season. It's far from the ideal environment for players, fans, and recruits.

Ohio State has also dealt with similar complaints this season, so this isn't unique to only Ole Miss.

Only two of Ole Miss' home games have come after the mid-afternoon time slot, and both were against cupcakes (Furman and Georgia Southern). There were opportunities against Kentucky, Oklahoma, Georgia, and Mississippi State. Instead, Kiffin's crew will have plenty of daylight to benefit from
