I'm not sure there is any college football team, in any conference, that has dealt with as many and as significant injuries as the Oklahoma Sooners have. You can throw a position out there, randomly, say anyone that comes to your mind, and chances are the Sooners have dealt with an injury there in some way.
The two biggest — wide receiver and offensive line, and there is really no arguing that.
The offense has been very poor this season but has progressively gotten better in the last few weeks. Quarterback play is the same way. These are two of their best three wide receivers, and great news for Jackson Arnold if they do come back.
The last game that Farooq played was against the Temple Owls, the first game of the season where he broke his foot on what was a beautiful deep pass from Arnold.
As for Burks, he's been dealing with a tissue issue of some sort, and his last game played was against the Tennessee Volunteers.
This is huge news.
