Usually, when you have a bye week, you're supposed to use it to get healthy. The Las Vegas Raiders have not been healthy at all this season, and so they needed this bye week maybe more than any team in the league. Unfortunately, they didn't get the right benefits that a bye week is supposed to give you.

The Raiders are coming off a bad loss to the Cincinnati Bengals the week before last, which put them on a five-game losing streak heading into the bye. And if you're on the side of wishing this team would tank for a better pick in the draft, the plan is going great.

Coming back from the bye will show that even further, as they are prepared to play the Miami Dolphins with some huge injuries on their side. Four key players will be out of this game.

Here are the inactives released by the Raiders just an hour or so before the game kicked off:

  • RB Dylan Laube
  • S Trey Taylor
  • NB Nate Hobbs
  • G Cody Whitehair
  • C Andre James
  • TE Harrison Bryant

Not only is the Raiders' starting nickel guy out, Nate Hobbs, who has been one of the best DBs on the team, but their starting center, along with the backup guard and backup tight end, is out.

This is only going to make a win harder.

After this game, the Raiders have a hard stretch of games scheduled as they will be set to play the Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints, and Los Angeles Chargers.
