The Houston Texans are about to play their third straight primetime game. The first one was against the New York Jets on Thursday Night Football, which they lost. The second was last week on Sunday Night Football against the Detroit Lions, which they also lost, and then this one, against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football.

So, they really need this win, as they sit at 6-4 on the year and have lost two straight games. They were 6-4 this time last year, too, but because of expectations coming into the season, this win would mean a lot more so that they could improve to 7-4 and extend their division lead over the Indianapolis Colts even more.

But, there is a bit of bad news.

According to several reports around the league, the Texans will be without stud rookie cornerback Kamari Lassiter, who suffered a concussion last week in the loss to the Detroit Lions.

So, in some corresponding moves, they are expected to activate defensive tackle Mario Edwards, and cornerback Jeff Okudah off of IR. This should help them tremendously.

They are also expected to start cornerback Ka’dar Hollman behind Derek Stingley as the CB2 on the night.

The Texans should be fine in this one, despite it being on the road. Every game the Dallas Cowboys have played at him this year was a slaughter fest, and not in the home team's favor. They aren't a great football team, and it won't take long to see that on Monday Night.

After this game, the Texans have a streak of very winnable games. They play the Tennessee Titans and the Jacksonville Jaguars next.
