The Las Vegas Raiders are in the road this week to get their 2024 season started. By on the road I mean they aren’t at Allegiant Stadium, but, technically they are still at home considering it’s a prior place they played and they will have more fans there than the Los Angeles Chargers will.
The Raiders will open up with the Chargers being potentially without Justin Herbert. That automatically makes this game more interesting for Raiders fans, because they want to watch a win, and that increases the chances of a win dramatically.
The Raiders are in their home away from home, so this does leave a lot of fans asking if they will even be able to watch. Here is the broadcast map for Week 1:
Week 1 Broadcast Map

Anywhere that is red, is the CBS game that features both the Raiders and the Chargers. The Raiders are getting one of the better duos on TV in Tony Romo, one of the more talented quarterbacks of the previous era, and Jim Nantz, who has the voice that every fan loves. As for Romo, majority of fans love him, but some hate that he tells what will happen before it happens. Which, is fair, to be honest. Either way, this should be a great duo to do the Raiders.
Chargers players to watch who can wreck the game:
Khalil Mack, EDGE: I don’t really have to tell Raiders fans about Mack. They know about the guy who not only used to do it in silver and black, but had six sacks in the first meeting this last year.
Derius Davis, WR: This one is all special teams. Davis was speedy, and he was great underneath the former kickoff rules. We will see if he’s the primary kick returner, and if he is, he could do some damage to an area of the Raiders that struggled in preseason.
Joe Alt, OT: Alt is one so specimen of a man. He’s been great during preseason and training camp, and even as a rookie I think he can lock down his side for stretches of the game.
