Two college football teams just did what the Las Vegas Raiders couldn't do in Allegiant Stadium

If you're a Las Vegas Raiders fan, then you likely miss the days of the Raiders being in Oakland, California in one way specifically. Everything about being in Las Vegas is better for the franchise, besides one thing. The franchise is making more money in Las Vegas, it's a better free-agent destination, and the stadium and facilities are much nicer.
However, if there is one thing the fans miss, it's the game day atmosphere with nothing but Raiders fans selling out the Oakland Coliseum, and making the place as loud as possible. In Las Vegas, they don't have that. The stadium is amazing now, and the best in the NFL, but being in Las Vegas presents a challenge for the home fans.
When you play in Las Vegas, the opposing team's fans use it as an excuse to go to Vegas on a vacation, so they usually fill up the stadium just as much if not more than Raiders fans. And, being in Las Vegas has made the tickets expensive. In fact, for a family of four, going to a Raiders game is the most expensive in the entire NFL.
The Raiders, since being in Las Vegas, haven't really had a home advantage. In fact, they have never really sold out the stadium for a game. Instead, two college teams have done it before the Raiders did.
According to Yahoo Sports, the USC Trojans and LSU Tigers football game hosted at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas this past weekend broke the crown record at Allegiant Stadium, which is more than any regular season game the Raiders have ever had there.
Now, granted, it's also more than the Super Bowl and Pac-12 Championship Game last year, too.
Still, the Raiders have to find a way to get the fans wearing silver and black in the seats more. Whatever way that is, it needs to be done. Give the Raiders a real home-field advantage, just like they used to have.
