The Las Vegas Raiders had enough of their own problems going on on Sunday with the Carolina Panthers. So, naturally, you use the next day to put everything behind you and just start fresh. Monday, for the Raiders, will be hard to do that.

They will be reminded of it all day as they deal with some tough news they received Monday morning.

According to Tom Pelissero, safety Marcus Epps has torn his ACL and will be done for the year. This now adds to the list of injuries the Raiders were already dealing with, such as Tyree Wilson's injury at the beginning of the season against the Los Angeles Chargers, Malcolm Koonce being done for the year, and the offensive line as well having their own injuries.

And let's not forget that Maxx Crosby is playing through a high ankle sprain. Epps is the leader in the secondary with the most experience that plays a ton.

He's vocal, and, sure, he messes up like every player, but he has also made some big-time plays this year like a tackle for loss against the Ravens late in the game. He's one of the more important players on the defense.

Now, they will be without him. And, what also sucks for him, is that this was a contract year for Epps. He was signed on a two-year deal by Dave Ziegler, and was looking to make even more money this offseason.

Isaiah Pola-Mao will now be the guy stepping in for Epps.
