The Indianapolis Colts put up a terrible performance in Week 2 and, as a result, fell to the Green Bay Packers by a score of 16 to 10.

One of the only bright spots the team had on the day was from their star running back, Jonathan Taylor, who was far and away the best Colts player to touch the field in Week 2.

Taylor finished with 103 rushing yards and 32 receiving yards bringing his total to 135 yards on the day. What makes it even more impressive is he only touched the ball 14 times throughout the game. He averages 8.6 yards per carry, and for some reason, the Colts only have him 12 carries on the day.

They decided to use Trey Sermon in a larger role this week, as opposed to Week 1. However, the majority of his snaps came in the passing game, and Sermon ended the game with only two rushing attempts.

Taylor showed today that he can still be relied on to lead this Colts offense. While Richardson continues to develop and improve as an NFL quarterback, the Colts need to be better about making Taylor a priority in their offensive game plan. In my honest opinion, Taylor needs to touch the ball at least 20 times a week. And if they had gotten him going earlier today, maybe the offense wouldn't have started out so slow, which dug them into a hole they couldn't get out of.
