Sometimes, you can't overthink the breakdown of the game. This one is a simple story for the Cowboys: Can they prove they can stop a physical team that will test their run defense by trying to punch them in the mouth over and over again like the New Orleans Saints did?
Listen, the film is out. Opposing offensive coordinators would be silly to ignore how the Saints handled the Cowboys' defensive tackles on their way to 190 rushing yards and six consecutive touchdown drives. They also witnessed the Buffalo Bills, Green Bay Packers, and San Francisco 49ers do something similar last season.
Offensively, the Ravens want to do a little bit of everything but after watching the Cowboys' latest loss, it's almost guaranteed they'll try the same stuff that worked: Running to the perimeter, motion, play action, and more.
Of course, the Cowboys will have to deal with the fact that Lamar Jackson is a much better quarterback than Derek Carr and much more of a dual-threat, which means the defense will likely have a spy on him like they did in Week 1 against the Cleveland Browns with DeMarvion Overshown.
