Bengals vs Commanders Friday Injury Report

Safety Vonn Bell (back) missed Thursday's practice after he was limited Thursday. There's a good chance he suffered the injury Thursday and was held out of practice the next day.
Should Bell miss Saturday's practice, he would likely be doubtful or declared out for Monday night. That would put second-year player Jordan Battle into the starting lineup to play next to Geno Stone in the back of Cincinnati's secondary.
Defensive tackles B.J. Hill and Sheldon Rankins, both dealing with hamstring injuries, remained out and should not be expected to play at this point. Hill was seen stretching with the team before taking to the rehab field, but failing to practice entering the weekend doesn't bode well for him.
On a more positive note, wide receiver Tee Higgins (hamstring) was limited again and told reporters he feels "100%." His plan is to play Monday, and if the coaches are aligned with his diagnosis, he will.
Higgins missed the first two games of the season, as did rookie defensive tackle Kris Jenkins Jr. (thumb). Jenkins went limited Friday despite the fact that his right hand has been completely wrapped the last two practices. That's likely how it will be Monday night if he plays, and he assured reporters he'll be good to go even if his right hand is essentially a club.
His reasoning? He dealt with another injury that limited him last year.
"I'll be good. I played last year with one eye."
Jenkins declined to expand on that answer other than explaining it was for half the season due to an Acanthamoeba Keratitis infection in his right eye.
Fellow rookie Amarius Mims (pectoral) was limited again, as was tight end Mike Gesicki (calf). Unlike Bell, Gesicki was able to practice for two consecutive days, which indicates his injury may not prevent him from suiting up Monday night.
As for the Commanders, edge defender Clelin Ferrell (knee), cornerback Emmanuel Forbes (thumb), and defensive tackle Johnny Newton (foot) were each limited Friday after missing Thursday. Cornerback Quan Martin (hamstring) went full after being limited Thursday.
Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase has the perfect platform on ‘Monday Night Football’ to shine again
Chase is primed to dominate in primetime.
