The Las Vegas Raiders are stealing a player from their AFC West rival the Denver Broncos.
Shortly after a bad game in terms of the offensive line play against the Los Angeles Rams, the Raiders cut John Simpson, an offensive lineman who was drafted by the former regime.
That kind of sent a message out. Now, they are signing a player off of the Denver Broncos practice squad to see if he can help out with that at all.
Netane Muti, the former Fresno State Bulldog, which could bring some chemistry and a relationship with Davante Adams and Derek Carr, was drafted in 2020 in the sixth round by the Broncos.
Muti was elevated by the Broncos for their last game against the Kansas City Chiefs and played just 28 offensive snaps. In those snaps, Muti didn't allow a pressure but did have a penalty called on him.
Maybe the Raiders are on to something here.
