Sants, Hill

There are people in the New Orleans Saints organization that aren't too happy with one play from last week's game against the Los Angeles Rams.

If you remember, Taysom Hill, the guy that can literally do everything, jumped over a defender last week. It was awesome.

However, it wasn't really something that the Saints' coaching staff liked. While it looked awesome, we all know that hurdling defenders can oftentimes lead to injuries.

I mean, it's football, so you can get an injury by doing anything in the sport. However, it increases the risk when you leave the ground, and there are guys diving at your legs while you are in the air.

But it's so cool.

"Yeah, I don't think people are too pumped about the one from last week," Hill said with a laugh.

I'm sure they weren't actually mad at Hill, but I'm also sure they did mention to him that he doesn't have to jump over defenders. He could easily take the hit and fight for extra yards that way.

But for a lot of guys, it's an instinct thing. It just happens.

"You know, look, I felt like, safety was going low on me and I kind of got stuck in between because I felt the defensive tackle, I think it was Aaron [Donald] trailing me so I kind of got stuck in between where I didn't fully commit to anything, so," Hill said

"You know, that probably wasn't the best decision, and I don't think they were too pumped about it last week."

I mean, was it the best decision, probably not, Was it cool to watch, and did it excite me, most definitely.

Hill is known for hurdling defenders, as he did it a few times last season when Jameis Winston was hurt, so I don't know if he will stop anytime soon, but as long as he doesn't get hurt, it's fine with me.
