Jalen Hurts knows playing Aaron Rodgers on Sunday night football is a big deal.

So, it comes as no surprise that in the first quarter, Hurts chose to make some history.

After amassing an unbelievable 103 rushing yards in the third quarter, he became the first quarterback to tally 100-plus rushing yards in a quarter over the last 30 years in the NFL.

Not Cam Newton, Michael Vick, Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, or any other generational running quarterback could do what Hurts achieved Sunday night. He's officially in rare air.

Hurts amassed an impressive amount of rushing yards by making plays out of nothing. That's his specialty.

For example, there was this 3rd down scramble near the end of the first quarter that set the Eagles up to take the lead with a quick score to start the second:

When Hurts has both his arms and legs working, he becomes impossible to stop. Green Bay is forced to merely pick its poison, sit back and watch him tear up the defense. The first quarter set him in a league of his own. And there is no question, Hurts' first quarter record will stand for seasons to come.
