It was a slow start but the Green Bay Packers (7-8) got the win. A solid game from QB Aaron Rodgers despite the running game going no where was enough to put Green Bay back into the playoff race.

Play makers like WRs Allen Lazard, Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson were more than enough to move the ball on a tough Dolphins defense, including key plays from the ageless wonder TE Marcedes Lewis.

Despite a slow start to the game, including a long kick return from Keisean Nixon to the Dolphins 9-yard line, which resulted in only a field goal, the Packers took over in the second half.

Four turnovers caused, two sacks and a shut out 13-0 in the final two quarters to keep the Packers alive in the NFC Playoffs.

On top of this win, the Packers needed a number of teams to lose to keep their postseason hopes alive. All of which occurred:

  • Minnesota Vikings over the New York Giants
  • Carolina Panthers over the Detroit Lions
  • San Francisco 49ers over the Washington Commanders
  • Kansas City Chiefs over the Seattle Seahawks

These, plus a Christmas Day win, not only keep them alive for the wild card, but set themselves up to a potential "win and in" come the final week of the season.

Through six games, the Green Bay Packers have won four. With games against rival Vikings and Lions still remaining.

With the ferocity the Packers defense is playing, as well as the playmakers stepping up in recent weeks, there is plenty of confidence in Lambeau.
