The Denver Broncos might be turning things around after their win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in London. Not only that, but they were able to get the huge win, and then enter the bye week, which is something they needed desperately.
While things looked to be heading back in the right direction, they somehow can't even catch a break on their bye week.
Because, why not. It wouldn't be this season if something didn't happen to them over the bye week.
It's not even the fact that something physically happened to them. Actually, nothing really happened to them, but instead, things happened that affected the Broncos in a bad way.
This is supposed to be a season where the Broncos go all in. I mean, they did get their guy in Russell Wilson, the last piece to the puzzle. So, you would think they want to make the playoffs.
At 3-5, they are running out of time, especially with the things that are happening around them.
The Chiefs lead the division, we know that. However, the fight for second place is real. Last week, the Broncos were just two games back of the Chiefs for first place and just one of the Chargers for second place.
On Sunday in Week 9, the Chargers won over the Atlanta Falcons in a nail-biter, which now puts second place in the division at a two-game reach.
Even when the Broncos aren't playing, they just cannot catch a break.
On the bright side, the Las Vegas Raiders lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
