Tuesday has been quite the spicy day around the Dallas Cowboys. On an appearance on 105.3 The Fan, team owner Jerry Jones set the morning off by saying free-agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr would look good with a star on his helmet.

He's not the only one on the recruiting trail in Dallas.

Cowboys' All-Pro linebacker, Micah Parsons, decided to throw some cayenne pepper on the day as well, sending a tweet directly to Odell, telling him to bring his talents to the Cowboys.

The Dallas fire department may be working overtime to put out these flames.

This isn't the first trip down recruiter lane for Parsons. Although unsuccessful, he did his part in bringing future Hall of Fame edge rusher Von Miller to the Cowboys, but he eventually put his John Hancock on a deal with the Buffalo Bills.

The love for Beckham goes beyond Parsons and Jones in Dallas. Cowboys' head coach, Mike McCarthy, recently expressed his appreciation for Beckham as well.

“I’ve always been a huge fan of his. …I’ve just heard so many excellent, excellent things about him," McCarthy said.

Dallas made calls about Jerry Jeudy of the Denver Broncos and Brandin Cooks of the Houston Texans before the trade deadline, but those failed to materialize anything to strike a deal. Will the third time be the charm for the Cowboys with Beckham?

The anticipation will run rapidly until it does it doesn't, that's for sure.
