There are two big questions surrounding the Dallas Cowboys and Cowboys Nation as a whole.
- When will WR T.Y. Hilton debut?
- Will the Cowboys defense take on MVP-candidate QB Jalen Hurts.
While it's looking like Hilton will make his team debut in what might be the final game in Dallas this season, we are still awaiting confirmation.
In regards to Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles HC Nick Sirriani broke the news himself. With Hurts dealing with a hurt throwing shoulder, Sirrianni has decided to sideline Hurts for Sunday's game. Giving QB Gardner Minshew the start.
The loss of Hurts hurts the Eagles in their pursuit of the NFC East and number one seed in the playoffs. One win and they would stay home for the playoffs.
It helps the Cowboys, whose defense is struggling in recent weeks, and has struggled all season to mobile quarterbacks.
In the team's first matchup this season, it was Hurts vs Cooper Rush, as Dak Prescott was sidelined with an injury to his throwing hand. The Eagles won the game 26-17 following a late-game interception that lead to what would be the game-winning touchdown.
While many wanted this to be Prescott vs Hurts at their best, instead it will be Prescott vs Minshew for the second year in a row.
The Dallas Cowboys defense will get a sense of relief. Dealing with injuries to key players like Leighton Vander Esch and Dorance Armstrong. While the Eagles signal caller just might get a boost in the MVP vote depending on how his team plays without him.
Earlier this week, the Cowboys were favored by 1.5 points. Today, the line is now 7.5 points. If the Cowboys want any hope to win the NFC East, it starts with winning this game on Sunday. Any loss guarantee's the conference goes to Philly.
