Micah Parsons is a generational talent for the Dallas Cowboys. His play is a major reason why the Cowboys have some of the best odds to make the 2022 NFL playoffs as it stands today.

Parsons, a fierce competitor, sent a loud message following the Cowboys' latest performance. Dallas, of course, dropped a road game to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night. Despite the effort without Dak Prescott, Parsons let his thoughts be known.

"I’m really looking forward to it. We’re going to get better from this. Our mistakes, we’re going to learn from them," Parsons said following the latest Cowboys' game. "We got a long way to go. You don’t win championships in six games. We got a long road.”

"We're going to get better"

Even better? That's a scary proposition for the rest of the league.

Parsons and the defense have played the biggest role in the Cowboys' start to the season. He is playing at an extremely high level, and the unit as a whole has taken a jump after last season's noticeable improvement under Dan Quinn.

The All-Pro sensation is adamant that the Cowboys will be better the next time that they play the Eagles. Philadelphia sits with a 6-0 record and holds the current No. 1 seed in the conference. Still, Dallas pushed Philly into the fourth quarter — even without Prescott in action.

“What I saw today was us beating ourselves,” Cowboys' defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence told the media on Sunday. “We gave them more opportunities to score the ball."

It is evident that the Cowboys are hungry after losing to their hated rival. The sentiment appears to be that Dallas believes they can beat the Eagles. The confidence in the locker room was obvious on Sunday night.

"I’m excited that there’s a long season ahead, we’re in a good position," Prescott said. "We control everything in front of us.”

Micah Parsons and the Dallas Cowboys are sending a loud message to the Philadelphia Eagles and the rest of the NFL. They're only going to get better from here on out.
