The Dallas Cowboys Can't Take the Packers Lightly for a Key Dimension

While much of the focus of the Dallas Cowboys (6-2) world is focused on whether or not Odell Beckham Jr will play with a star on his helmet, the team themselves are preparing for a trip to Lambeau to take on the struggling Green Bay Packers (3-6).
Green Bay is in the midst of a five-game losing streak, now facing their former head coach Mike McCarthy. Being well undermanned against the Cowboys.
The Packers will be without their best pass rusher, Rashan Gary, who suffered a torn ACL. As well as without their best wide receiver, Romeo Doubs, who suffered a high-ankle sprain.
Who the Packers are expected tohave is their leading rusher and one of the elite running backs in Aaron Jones.
Though hobbled, Jones is still a threat out of the backfield, especially with a heavy dose of AJ Dillon to share the carries. And here is where their gameplan will (should) stem.
The combination of Jones and Dillion has rushed for 989 yards, averaging just under five yards per carry (4.82). Facing one of the worst run defenses in the league in Dallas.
On the season, the Cowboys are allowing 4.7 yards per carry. Allowing 100+ yards rushing in all but two games, with five going over 130 yards allowed on the ground.
Resulting in a 3-2 record in those contests, with an average score of 23 (for) to 20 (against).
With the addition of NT Johnathan Hankins, the Cowboys allow two yards per carry less when he's on the field. Included with the rookie LB Damone Clark, an added speedy dimension to play the run, the run defense should be better in this game.
Even with a 5.5-point early advantage, the Dallas Cowboys have seen plenty of Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers to take them lightly. Even though this time it should be a heavy show on the ground, this is no exception.
